Athens Kallithea FC x Athens Open Air Film Festival

Athens Kallithea FC, in collaboration with the 15th Athens Open Air Film Festival, transformed the Grigoris Lamprakis Stadium into a unique open-air cinema for a special screening celebrating the 60th anniversary of For a Few Dollars More (1965). The initiative—brought to life through close coordination between all parties—saw nearly 1,000 spectators gather on the pitch of the historic venue, nicknamed “El Paso” for its resemblance to the film’s setting. The event blended sport, cinema, and community, showcasing the stadium’s cultural potential beyond football and laying the groundwork for future cinematic activations.
